Ski touring Lyngen Alps
I just returned from a week ski guiding in Norway's Lyngen Alps. We had a great trip, with perfect weather, cold powder and great company.

The Lyngen Alps are located in the northern Troms region, high above the arctic circle. With 50 peaks above 1300m rising straight from the fjords it is a skiers paradise. Designated in 2004 as a protected park the serenity of this vast wilderness has been preserved. With easy access from the small city of Tromso Lyngen has become the European equivalent to Alaska's Chugach range.
We stayed at the magic mountain lodge in Lyngseidet, a perfect base for exploring the range.
